My Everyday Commuting Shoe Is...a Heel Anonymous Copenhagen’s Trini 40 Stiletto can withstand any commute.  This year I decided to lean back into heels. Not sky-high stilettos but strappy, kitten-heeled sandals and little pointed pumps—styles that can elongate the leg and elevate an outfit while still being comfortable enough to spend an entire day running around in them. Don’t let the name fool you—the heel comes in at just 40mm (that's around an inch and a half), which I’ve discovered is the ideal height for trekking from the office to the train to a deskside and finally home. I’ve worn them on sunny days and in the rain and they haven’t left me cursing my outfit decisions. The pump, which is crafted from smooth lambskin that has molded to my feet after a short break-in period, comes in four colors—black, white sand, chocolate and pomegranate—rich hues that each look as delicious as they sound. I ultimately chose pomegranate because I wanted the versatility of a neutral but a warm tone that could subtly nod to sunnier days to come. The best part is that the pump rings in at just under $300 dollars, which is a steal considering how luxurious the leather looks and feels as well as the durability of the curved heel.
