The light begins to shift before the wardrobe fully does.
Mornings arrive with a colder breeze, while afternoons still hold onto the warmth of summer. As the days move between the two, dressing begins to follow the same rhythm.
The dresses of summer linger a little longer, now paired with boots and the first coats are brought back into rotation. Bare legs meet leather, lighter fabrics are grounded by tall boot silhouettes, and familiar summer pieces take on a different expression alongside the first signs of fall.
It is a season of contrasts. Coats with heels. Light dresses with boots. Open silhouettes beneath heavier layers. Pieces we are not quite ready to put away, worn alongside those we have been waiting to bring back.
This is dressing between seasons.
