Climate Action Plan
May 2026

Our commitment:

Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time. As a design company, we recognize our responsibility to reduce our climate impact. Anonymous Copenhagen is committed to supporting the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement. We want to be transparent about our climate impact, and we calculate and report on our CO2e emissions in Scope 1, 2, and 3 annually.

Climate Action Plan:
Using 2025 as our baseline year, we have set a clear climate action plan with SMART targets that guide action across our own operations and our wider value chain and enable us to collect performance data and measure progress over time. Our Climate Action Plan describes how we will work to address our greenhouse gas emissions and improve our climate performance in our own operations and our value chain. Targets and activities have been identified through our annual carbon reporting process, stakeholder feedback, our double materiality assessment, and in dialogue with management.

Our Climate Action Plan does not only consist of emission-based targets. We are also committing to non-emission targets that contributes to our overall environmental impact and performance. Since majority of our environmental footprint is upstream in our supply chain, we prioritise supplier collaboration and transparency in our targets and actions.

Overall ambition:
Our ambition is to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 42% in 2032 compared to 2025 baseline. For scope 3 we haven’t made an overall reduction target yet, as we want to improve our climate accounting further before making reduction targets. But we are looking into initiatives already that theoretically should contribute to lowering our scope 3 impact and emissions.

Responsibility, review and approval:
Our CMO, Jeppe Bruun Fals, is overall responsible for our Climate Action Plan. The Climate Action Plan is approved by top management and the Board, and progress is monitored and reviewed annually.

To turn our commitment and plan into practice, we work with the following targets:
We are a small company with limited emissions in our scope 1 and 2., due to the main part of our business activities being in our supply chain and therefore in scope 3. This makes our variation of actions to reduce our emissions in scope 1 and 2 limited, and we will have to keep monitoring our targets to ensure that it is likely for us to redeem our goals and if they contribute to our reduction target as planned.

1. Increase the share of renewable energy in our own operations Target: 100% of our energy use in both our office, stores and our warehouse should be from renewable resources by 2030.

How we make it happen: We will be in close dialogue with our landlords and warehouse to understand their plans on converting to renewable energy in the spaces that we rent or have our products stored. If they are planning to change, we can consider contributing to the switch as a long-term investment. If they are not yet looking into it, we must consider how to make our landlords shift and in what timeline that can happen.

2. Reduce energy consumption in our own operations:
Target:
We plan on reducing our energy consumption by 10% by 2032.

How we make it happen:
The primary contributors to our energy consumption in both the office and our stores are heating of the old buildings during the winter along with lights and electronics/hardware (such as computers, screens, etc.) being on during office hours. We continuously investigate improving our hardware habits, so we turn off our screen, computers, etc. after leaving the office and stores and don’t leave them in standby mode. We are also going to investigate with our landlord if they are planning on doing any insulation improvements on the buildings to reduce overall energy consumption.

Potential initiatives for scope 3
Even though we haven’t made reduction targets for scope 3 yet, we are already looking into how we can enable future reductions and improvements to our climate accouting.

1. Increase the amount of product and process specfic data to improve data quality:
Target:
no official target yet

How we make it happen:
• Specific consumption data for production site
• Research if it makes sense to make an LCA on standard styles to improve product specific data and emissions.

2. Reduce CO2e emissions from third party transport of products by changing to low-emission or electric vehicles and freight methods
Target: 50% of our upstream and downstream transport is from low emission or electric vehicles / freight methods by 2027.

How we make it happen: Research transport options in our upstream value chain. Ask our current freight partners and/or our suppliers and warehouse on their plans on electric / low emission transport. Consider finding new partners if there are no plans or indication of changing from fossil fuel-based transport. Research with customers if they are willing to choose low emission freight methods by themselves or nudging Is needed.

3. Reduce CO2e emissions from purchasing
Target: no official target yet

How we make it happen:
• Support transition to renewable energy at key suppliers
• Research low emission production methods
• Research low emission input materials
